Your Host
Born in the Dolomites, I graduated in Foreign Languages in Venice and spent thirty years abroad between England and France, working mainly as a translator and language teacher.
I am also the creator of Kitchen Lingo, an Italian cooking and language school in Sussex (check out the fantastic cooking and language courses at Casa Ezio Marchi in Tuscany!)
In 2020 I bought this wonderful farm in the Valdichiana, near Siena, where I can combine my passion for languages, nature, cuisine, art and hospitality.
Maybe you should know that around the property live some cats that I adopted, all very kind and sterilized plus a couple of Jack Russell and Freddie my old cat.
I love listening to the bells of the church of Bettolle from the garden, opening the window in the morning and filling me with light and encouraging views, taking care of the garden and picking olives to make my olive oil when it is season.
They are all very well and happy.
